
"TransCare: Supporting the mental health of trans people and increasing accessibility to crisis services in Estonia"
The project “TransCare: Supporting the mental health of trans people and increasing accessibility to crisis services in Estonia” aims to create safe, community-based support networks, strengthen cooperation with crisis and support service providers to improve trans people’s access to professional help and reduce the stigma faced by trans people in Estonian society.
As a result of the project, the quality and accessibility of support services for the trans community will improve, public awareness of gender diversity will increase, and the collaboration between partner organizations will be strengthened.
The project is led by the Estonian Trans Alliance in cooperation with the Behemoth Center.

“TRANSforming Media”: Amplifying Trans and Nonbinary Voices through Community Building and Visibility in Media”
The project aims to strengthen the influence and capacity of trans and non-binary people, as well as other gender minorities, in Estonian society. This is achieved through the creation of an informative web platform, training for media professionals, and organising community events and media content for the trans community.
The project is implemented by the Estonian Trans Alliance (ETA) in cooperation with the Estonian LGBT Association (Eesti LGBT Ühing), MTÜ Oma Tuba, and the National Queer Association of Iceland (Samtökin’78).
The project is funded by the Active Citizens Fund, in partnership with the Open Estonia Foundation (Avatud Eesti Fond) and the Network of Estonian Nonprofit Organisations (Vabaühenduste Liit).
